Chic Vertical Blinds

I was introduced to vertical blinds early because my mother had some made for our house. They were plastic, made a great clicking noise when you turned them to be shut, and they had wallpaper strips in the center to perfectly match the walls. That was an amazing project. Each strip of wallpaper was perfectly cut, glued and slid into the slats of each blind. I think it took her more than one day to do them all. It looked like a terrible job, but it was expertly done and we had the most incredible vertical blinds. You couldn’t tell where the wall stopped and the blinds started. Everyone was impressed when they came to visit and it made our house look incredibly regal.
